ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries
The ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL 2013) is a major international forum focusing on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, organizational, and social issues. JCDL encompasses the many meanings of the term digital libraries, including (but not limited to) new forms of information institutions and organizations; operational information systems with all manner of digital content; new means of selecting, collecting, organizing, distributing, and accessing digital content; theoretical models of information media, including document genres and electronic publishing and theory and practice of use of managed content in science and education.
JCDL 2013 will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana (USA), 23-25 July 2013. The program is organized by an international committee of scholars and leaders in the digital libraries field and attendance is expected to include several hundreds of researchers, practitioners, managers, and students.

Archiving (Society for Imaging Science and Technology)
Since the first meeting, Archiving has continued to offer a unique opportunity for imaging scientists and those working in the cultural heritage community (curators, archivists, librarians, etc.), as well as in government, industry, and academia, to come together to discuss the most pressing issues related to the digital preservation and stewardship of hardcopy, audio, and video.

Digital Library Federation (DLF) Forum
The 2013 DLF Forum will be on November 4 – 6, 2013 in Austin, TX at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. Participation is open to all who are interested in contributing to and playing an active part in the successful future of digital libraries, museum and archives services, and collections. The Forum will feature presentations and panels, workshops, research updates, working sessions, demos, and more. We are currently accepting proposals for the 2012 DLF Forum. Library and Information Technology Association (LITA) members are information technology professionals dedicated to educating, serving, and reaching out to the entire library and information community. The Midwest Archives Conference is the nation's largest regional professional association for archivists.

Museum Computer Network
MCN's conference will be help November 7-10, 2012 Seattle, WA
This year’s theme, “The Museum Unbound: Shifting Perspectives, Evolving Spaces, Disruptive Technologies”, focuses on exploring how the quickening pace of technological innovation is expanding the very definition of what it means to be a museum.
The MCN has some participants interested in digital preservation and digital asset management issues.
NITLE
The National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) helps liberal arts colleges and universities integrate inquiry, pedagogy, and technology.
They don't have a conference but they do have something called the Innovation Studio Demo Day. Maybe we could get in on that? As soon as we have something innovative to talk about :-) Meg will volunteer to contact them!

PLA

Preservation Week
ALCTS sponsors a week of activities and a website of with resources for all kinds of preservation topics.
The week includes webinars and we might offer to get in one that. The only drawback is that public libraries are the prime audience. So how good we are at identifying possibilities for the really low end of the "RR" part of our work may limit this possibilty.
